The rooms at Sunshine Hotel & Hall were cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved the private bathroom with a refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept me entertained when I wanted to relax in bed. Having a safety deposit box in the room gave me peace of mind knowing my valuables were secure. Some rooms even offered a city view, allowing me to take in the vibrant surroundings. I was pleasantly surprised by the balcony in certain rooms, where I could enjoy a cup of tea and soak up the sunshine. The twin room I stayed in had a private entrance, offering a sense of privacy and convenience. The garden view added a touch of tranquility. Selected guestrooms were equipped with a flat-screen television, plush carpeting, cleaning products, clothes rack, and a comfortable sofa, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the tile/marble floor in the twin room I stayed in. Others might appreciate its aesthetic appeal, though.

Manager could learn from his staff. Not extremely welcoming.

The Sunshine Hotel & Hall provided a warm and welcoming stay during my time in Trincomalee. The hotel's general areas were well-maintained and had a charming Sri Lankan touch to its decoration. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace, which offered a pleasant view of the city. Moreover, the hotel's central location made it easily accessible for senior people like myself. With just a short walk, I could reach the bus stop, nearby attractions such as Lovers Leap and the fort, as well as the two major temples. It was convenient and ideal for exploring the city.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a bit more assistance from the staff. While they were friendly, it seemed like the children working there were not very experienced in the hospitality industry.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a well-located area, close to the town center and with a good bus route. The hotel offered comfortable rooms at a reasonable cost, making it great for budget travelers. The attention to detail was evident, with two double beds in the room, perfect for families or groups. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The basic amenities, including a fridge and cable TV, added to the convenience of the room. The hotel's location on a quiet street ensured a peaceful stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
All in all, I had a good stay at this hotel.

Best deal in town! Located in the heart of the city with great access to local restaurants and shops. the staff was warm and welcoming, and the hotel was well, maintained with beautiful flowers and plants. the room was clean and affordable, offering us great value for money. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service, making our stay even more enjoyable. the non, air, conditioned room was hot and sticky, and we recommend opting for an AC room. the basic amenities did not include a TV or refrigerator, but the price reflected this. noise levels from nearby events may disturb light sleepers. Despite these minor inconveniences, it was a fantastic stay.

The hotel's location was fantastic, as it was just a few minutes' walk from the beach and right next to the main bus stand. This made it so easy for me to explore this city and go wherever I needed to. Additionally, the staff were really kind and helpful during my stay. They helped me with anything I needed and made me feel comfortable. Lastly, the room was simple but clean, and for the cost, it was definitely worth it.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The location was convenient, just a short walk away from the beach and local restaurants. The hotel staff, particularly the security guard, were friendly and accommodating.
The room was disappointing, with old and worn out furniture. The bathroom was dirty and the air conditioning was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. the hotel lacked basic amenities and the staff wasn't particularly helpful.
